Application of homotopy perturbation method in solving coupled schrƶdinger and poisson equation in accumulation layer

    Get PDF
In this manuscript, a novel approach for an approximate solving of coupled Schrodinger-Poisson (SP) equations in the accumulation layer of semiconductor is described. This approach, based on the homotopy perturbation method (HPM), gives an approximate analytic solution of SP system which at the same time has a relative simple mathematical form, as well as a high degree of accuracy. A good agreement between HPM solution and exact solution of SP system indicates on the utility and sufficiency of the HP method

CHATBOT APPLICATION AS SUPPORT TOOL FOR THE LEARNING PROCESS OF BASIC CONCEPTS OF TELECOMMUNICATIONS AND WIRELESS NETWORKS

    Get PDF
There are several applications for Chatbots in education, as well as their contributions to mentoring in the learning process. Bots can assist teachers with staying up to date on new standards and evaluation methodologies. Bots can assist students in understanding tough subjects in a way that makes it appear as if they are being taught by another person. Chatbots serve as virtual assistants in the educational setting, improving efficiency or answering frequently asked questions. In this case, we work on the premise of investigating the potential of Chatbots as analytical tools for analyzing preferred types of learning material in a mobile learning environment, which leads to the acquisition of a proper level of knowledge on the topics of telecommunication and wireless networks

Determination of invariant measures: An approach based on homotopy perturbations

    Get PDF
This paper describes the application of the homotopy perturbations method (HPM) in the computation of invariant measures (IMs) of the non-linear dynamical systems which are characterized by the complex, chaotic behavior. The convergence of the HPM is formally investigated and confirmed, and its efficiency is illustrated in several examples of widely used chaotic maps

Results of investigating the macroinvertebrate community of the Danube River on the sector upstream from the Iron Gate (km 1083-1071)

The present work cites results of investigating aquatic macroinvertebrates of the Danube River on the sector upstream from the Iron Gate (KM 1083-1071). The investigated part is interesting from the hydrobiological standpoint above all due to differences of faunal composition in relation to higher sections that could be expected in view of differences in overall characteristics of the river. A rich macroinvertebrate community (84 taxa) was observed. The diversity of taxa is primarily a result of habitat diversity within the given stretch. Oligochaeta and Mollusca were the principal components

Inversion Charge Density of MOS transistor with Generalized Logistic Functions

    Get PDF
In this paper, the expression for the charge density in inversion layer at the surface of semiconductor has been improved. The improvement is related to the replacement of an empirical smoothing factor by new one which has generalized logistic (GL) functional form. The introduction of the GL function of the second type in the original interpolating expression leads to continual and smooth transition of the inversion charge density (ICD) between different regions of metal-oxide-semiconductor (MOS) operation. Moreover, in this way any empirical determinations are avoided. The simulated values of the ICD match closely with the numerical results of implicit charge sheet model for a wide range of dopant concentration and oxide thickness. In addition, the proposed GL fitting procedure has been also extended in the case where quantum mechanical effects play important role in inversion mode of scaled MOS devices

Can the transformation of instruction process into a virtual place induce a shift in behavioral patterns of teachers and students?

    Get PDF
The goal of this study is to reveal possible influence that the participants' age and Information and Communications Technologies (ICT) usage in the instruction process can have on behavior that defines whether students and teachers belong to one of the Digital Native/Immigrant or Visitor/Resident groups. We collected data through two surveys that covered a total of 1273 students and 382 teachers from southern regions of Serbia. The surveys consisted of questions about availability of computers and internet, ICT use in the instruction process, and communication habits in the ICT-empowered instruction process. The first survey covered both, students and teachers that were involved in the instruction process mostly deprived of the ICT usage. The second survey covered participants of an instruction process that was successfully improved by an ICT usage. Data analysis shows a shift in communication patterns of teachers and a sharp improvement in computer use for educational purposes for both groups included in the surveys. The change is induced by a proper ICT usage in the instruction process. Conclusions that followed the data analysis lead us to better approaches in organizing ICT usage in the instruction process that enable participants fully employ their resources in order to improve teaching techniques and learning
